WE ARE HIRING! Business Development Officer | Salary: PKR 70,000 – 90,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

WORDS Foundation Pakistan (Reformist Social Welfare and Development Organization) is a national non-profit organization working in the areas of skill development, livelihood support, restoration of social services, and climate innovation and resilience. The organization collaborates with government departments, UN agencies, donors, and private sector partners to implement sustainable development initiatives across Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
– Identify funding opportunities from government, donors, UN agencies, and NGOs
– Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOIs), concept notes, and project proposals
– Develop partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders
– Coordinate with program, finance, and technical teams for proposal development
– Maintain donor communication and follow-up on submissions
– Support MoUs, agreements, and partnership documentation
– Conduct market research and mapping of new funding opportunities
– Prepare business development reports and progress updates
– Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and networking events

Location: Head Office – Jaffarabad / Islamabad (with travel when required)

Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field
-Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, donor coordination, or proposal writing
– Experience with NGOs, INGOs, or development projects preferred

Skills & Competencies:
– Strong proposal and report writing skills
– Knowledge of donor requirements and funding mechanisms
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to manage multiple deadlines
– Strong coordination and networking abilities
