A comprehensive training session on Climate-Smart Agriculture, Tree Management, and Harvesting Practices was successfully conducted at THQ Rojhan Jamali under the project “Restoring Social Service & Climate Resilience (RSSCR)”.
We were honored to have the session graced by distinguished special guests, including the CEO of WORDS Foundation Pakistan Dr Muhammad Hayat Jamali, DHO Dr. Ayaz Jamali, DDHO Dr. Nohshad Shah.
In their inspiring addresses, the guests highly appreciated the transformative work being carried out by PPAF and WORDS Foundation Pakistan in the Jaffarabad district. They also emphasized the critical importance of plantation, detailing its wide-ranging benefits for environmental health and community resilience.
Led by Mr. Mir Hassan Dahar, the core session focused on strengthening the capacity of local farmers in sustainable farming methods, equipping them with practical knowledge to combat climate change impacts.
This vital initiative is funded by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and implemented by WORDS Foundation Pakistan, with active participation from CRPs Rojhan Jamali, Mr. Nassrullah, Mr. Arshad Ali, Focal Person Mr. Muhammad Nadeem, and Mr. Shehzad Iqbal.
Together, we are fostering climate adaptation and building resilient livelihoods in rural Pakistan.
