Grand Independence Day Celebration Held in District Usta Muhammad 🇵🇰

Usta Muhammad, August 14, 2026: A grand and dignified ceremony was held today in District Usta Muhammad to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day. The event was jointly organized by the District Administration Usta Muhammad, WORDS Foundation Pakistan, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), and Yar Muhammad Samejo Educational Society.

The Chief Guest was Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali, Minister for Livestock. Other distinguished guests included Mir Muzaffar Khan Jamali, Mayor Usta Muhammad; Mir Salar Khan Jamali, Chairman District Usta Muhammad; Hafiz Muaz-ur-Rehman, SSP Usta Muhammad; Shabbir Ahmed Kango; District Education Officer Usta Muhammad, along with senior officials from various government departments, civil society representatives, teachers, students, and a large number of citizens.

The ceremony commenced with a Guard of Honour, followed by a flag-hoisting ceremony accompanied by the national anthem. Students presented national songs, speeches, and tableaus highlighting the spirit of Independence Day. Their performances were highly appreciated by the participants.

In their speeches, the students highlighted the historic struggle for Pakistan’s independence and expressed their commitment to national unity, peace, development, and prosperity.

On the occasion, Muzaffar Memon, Coordinator of WORDS Foundation Pakistan, presented national badges to the distinguished guests. A cake was also cut to commemorate the 79th Independence Anniversary of Pakistan. Special prayers were offered for the security, stability, progress, and prosperity of the country.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali and other distinguished guests paid tribute to the leaders and personalities who played historic roles in the Pakistan Movement. They also paid homage to the martyrs of Pakistan for their sacrifices. The speakers emphasized the importance of national brotherhood, unity, solidarity, and collective efforts for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the WORDS Foundation Pakistan team distributed Pakistani national flags and national badges among children, further promoting patriotism and a spirit of national pride among the young participants.

The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere filled with patriotic enthusiasm, national unity, and love for Pakistan. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to playing their role in promoting peace, development, stability, and prosperity across the country.
